Berrien Springs High School Bands Perform Winter Concert

This concert features the 7th & 8th Grade Band, High School Concert Band, and High School Jazz Band under the direction of Rick Wiltse, a graduate of Western University. This concert's repertoire reflects music that is to be performed at the District Band & Orchestra Festival at Lake Michigan College in March.

The 7th & 8th Grade Band is performing pieces that include Highlander Regiment composed by James Ployhar, Of Hopes and Dreams by John Wasson, and Huntington Ridge by David Gorham.
You will hear Bonds of Unity composed by Karl King and arranged James Swearingen, Spirit of the Falcon by Richard Saucedo, and Among the Clouds by Brian Balmages performed by the High School Concert Band, followed by the jazz band performing Chameleon arranged by Michael Sweeney, an arrangement of My Funny Valentine by Richard Rodgers, and Mambo Hot by Victor Lopez.

The high school band is looking forward to performing at the Dock Stage at Disney World in Orlando the last week of March.
