Second Sunday Concert Series

Andrews University Singers will be anchoring the Second Sunday Concert sponsored by the Department of Music, WAUS and the Howard Center for the Performing Arts.
Also featured on the concert is the women’s choir Canta Bella and Pioneer Men’s Chorus. The 50-minute concert will feature the choral works of American composers Eric Whitacre, Paul Halley, Paul Basler and Joseph Martin. The concert is a celebration of the American spirit as rendered through Whitacre’s “Cloudburst” and “Sleep” , and Basler’s “Alleluia”. The concert will conclude with Halley’s exquisite and varied compositions “Laudate Dominum”, “What Stood, Will Stand”, and “Jesu, the Very Thought of Thee”.
The concert is free and no tickets are required.
