What happens when two world-class artists join forces? An unforgettable evening of music. Join internationally renowned tenor Charles Reid and the incomparable pianist Chi Yong Yun as they explore the magic of song.

Americana Soundscape is a concert that will feature the music of American scenes and composers primarily from the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s. From the beginning with Gershwin’s lively "Strike Up the Band" all the way to the sounds of Barker’s arrangement of "Tin Pan Alley," this concert is sure to delight! Included are favorites from Henry Mancini, Aaron Copland and Cole Porter, as well as Florence Price’s "Juba Dance."

Stephen Zork Reunion Concert: "How Can I Keep From Singing?"

Stephen Zork is retiring after 35 remarkable years at Andrews University. He has been a beloved mentor, teacher and major professor to many. To help mark the conclusion of his extraordinary teaching career, a special weekend has been organized from April 24–25, 2026.

The highlight will be a Celebration Reunion Choir Concert, conducted by Professor Zork, on Friday evening at the Howard Performing Arts Center. The reunion choir will also perform during second service at Pioneer Memorial Church.

If you’ve ever sung with Professor Zork during his 35-year tenure at Andrews, please plan to join the choir!

Friday, April 24
Howard Performing Arts Center, Andrews University

12:30 p.m.—Singers arrive and enjoy light refreshments and time to reconnect
2–5 p.m.—Rehearsal with Professor Zork
5–6 p.m.—Light supper provided (please stay on campus for call time)
6:30 p.m.—Choir call time
7:30 p.m.—Celebration Reunion Choir Concert

Sabbath, April 25
Howard Performing Arts Center, Andrews University

9 a.m.—Continental breakfast and fellowship
10–11 a.m.—Rehearsal for church service
11–11:20 a.m.—Walk to Pioneer Memorial Church
11:20–11:35 a.m.—Choir seated on the platform
11:45 a.m.—Second Service

Following the service, we hope to gather singers and their families for lunch (location TBD), followed by a time of shared stories, photos and reminiscing.

Thank you for your support as we work to honor Professor Zork and celebrate the extraordinary community he has built over these many years.

Please join the Glendale Adventist Academy Music Department as they present "A Night in Hollywood," featuring their concert band, jazz band and chorale celebrating the most iconic sounds in Hollywood history. The concert will begin with religious music and transition to secular as the evening progresses.

This is a free concert.
