Reggie & Ladye Love Smith in Concert ...presented by Trinity Lutheran Church of Glendora.

Experience an unforgettable evening of worship and world-class music with Reggie Smith and Ladye Love Smith, two of gospel music’s most celebrated voices. Known for their Grammy Award-winning performances with the Gaither Vocal Band and appearances on the beloved Gaither Homecoming, this dynamic duo has captivated audiences around the world—from Super Bowl stages to Carnegie Hall. With powerful harmonies, heartfelt testimony, and a legacy of performing alongside legendary artists, Reggie and Ladye bring a night of inspiration, joy, and timeless gospel music you won’t want to miss.

Violinist Carla Trynchuk and pianist Elena Braslavsky will be performing a recital including works by Beethoven, Grieg, Sibelius, and the Jewish Ukrainian composer Meitus.  Trynchuk, faculty at Andrews University, has performed internationally as soloist and recitalist in more than 15 countries.  Braslavsky, formerly a faculty member at The Juilliard School and the Mannes School of Music, currently serves on the piano faculty of the Mozarteum University of Salzburg.  Trynchuk and Braslavsky were classmates together at The Juilliard School.

ZaRiah is an award-winning emerging wind quintet celebrated for its vibrant artistry, dynamic performances, and meaningful connection with audiences. The ensemble made history as the Grand Prize winner of the 2026 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition—the first wind quintet to earn the honor in nearly 30 years—and also received First Prize at the Frances Walton Chamber Music Competition. Formed at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, ZaRiah’s members have performed internationally and with some of the world’s leading orchestras and ensembles. Dedicated to musical excellence and accessibility, the group is passionate about creating engaging performances while expanding access to chamber music in underserved communities.

The Alumni Gala concert will feature all three university music ensembles - Andrews University Symphony Orchestra, Andrews University Wind Symphony, and Andrews University Choirs.  Come join us for this fun and festive concert on our university's alumni weekend.

Andrews University Wind Symphony

The Andrews University Wind Symphony maintains a significant travel schedule throughout the Great Lakes area and seeks to provide high quality music programs and concerts representative of Adventist education and Andrews University. The Wind Symphony has performed in England, France, Spain, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Canada and throughout the United States.

Interim Conductor: Brenton Offenback

The Andrews University Singers is the select choir of the Department of Music and represents Andrews University locally, nationally and abroad through concert tours, television broadcast and audio recordings. They have given highly acclaimed international concert tours throughout the countries of Great Britain, Iceland, Norway, Brazil, Zimbabwe, Chile, South Africa, Bahamas, Bermuda and Puerto Rico.
