Kevin Anthony Fowler is a Jamaican-Canadian contemporary Christian singer and songwriter.  In 2024, K-Anthony celebrated his most recent Juno Award – Canada’s equivalent of a Grammy – for Gospel Contemporary album of the year. Influenced by the island music, you can hear his love of Reggae, R&B and the sounds of his teenage years of bands such as Boys II Men. K-Anthony’s career is buoyed by faith, resilience, and the deep-rooted values of his upbringing. The underlying theme of K-Anthony’s music is his love for God and hope for the future in his return.

The Collingsworth Family is a southern gospel group started by Phil and Kim Collingsworth and features their family as the group. Their ministry and music tours have reached all over the United States as well as internationally. Excitement, family-emphasis, and musical excellence are what you can expect when you come to The Collingsworth Family concert.  Phil and Kim’s entire purpose is to give the talent God has loaned them back to their Creator as a sacrifice of praise.

Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 7:30 pm, the AUSO will be giving a free performance of movie soundtracks and Broadway tunes to raise funds for their music tour to California this coming March. This Saturday evening, February 21 at 8:00 p.m. the Andrews University Chorale and Singers will present a special collaborative choral program with the University of Notre Dame Chorale under the direction of Stephen Zork.  The concert is family-oriented and features thoughtful, edifying, and playful repertoire with allusions to nature’s narratives on love, longing, gratitude, and hope.  This concert is a wonderful way to help melt away the winter blues as it opens with a set three German songs: An die Musik by Franz Schubert,Ein kleiner, hübscher Vogel, by Johannes Brahms, and the rapturous Morgen by Richard Strauss.

Additional repertoire includes:

• “Skylark” arranged by John Rutter featuring mezzo-soprano Lyra Lacson, and “The Mother Whale Lullaby” by Larry Nickel.

• Larry Nickel’s settings of three delightful poems by Sarah Teasdale “April Song”, “May Night”, and “Dusk in June” are contrasted by Eric Whitacre’s setting of Robert Frost’s poem “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening”. 

• Additional aspects of love and yearning are expressed through “Yesterday” arranged by Bob Chilcott, Una Furtiva Lagrima by Gaetano Donizetti featuring tenor Jonathan Clough, and “Can’t Buy Me Love” arranged by Keith Abbs.

The concert concludes with the award-winning and internationally renowned choirs performing an endearing and heart-warming setting of “Danny Boy” arranged by Larry Nickel, featuring Charles Reid, tenor.

Andrews University Singers

The Andrews University Singers is the select choir of the Department of Music and represents Andrews University locally, nationally and abroad through concert tours, television broadcast and audio recordings. They have given highly acclaimed international concert tours throughout the countries of Great Britain, Iceland, Norway, Brazil, Zimbabwe, Chile, South Africa, Bahamas, Bermuda and Puerto Rico.

Violinist Carla Trynchuk and pianist Elena Braslavsky will be performing a recital including works by Beethoven, Debussy and the Jewish Ukrainian composer Meitus. Trynchuk, faculty at Andrews University, has performed internationally as a soloist and recitalist in more than 15 countries. Braslavsky, formerly a faculty member at The Juilliard School and the Mannes School of Music, currently serves on the piano faculty of the Mozarteum University of Salzburg. Trynchuk and Braslavsky were classmates together at The Juilliard School.

Watchmen Acappella is a faith-based vocal group whose sound reflects a blend of cultural influences rooted in African heritage and gospel tradition. Through live performances, the group seeks to encourage audiences and communicate their faith through music. Watchmen Acappella’s mission is to inspire hope, bridge cultural gaps, and create sustainable opportunities for those in need.

Stephen Zork Reunion Concert "How Can I Keep from Singing"

Stephen Zork is retiring after 35 remarkable years at Andrews University. He has been a beloved mentor, teacher and major professor to many. To help mark the conclusion of his extraordinary teaching career, a special weekend has been organized from April 24–25, 2026.

The highlight will be a Celebration Reunion Choir Concert, conducted by Mr. Zork, on Friday evening at the Howard Performing Arts Center. The reunion choir will also perform during second service at Pioneer Memorial Church.

If you’ve ever sung with Professor Zork during his 35-year tenure at Andrews, please plan to join the choir!
