Rachel Barton Pine is an acclaimed American concert violinist whose infectious joy and passion transforms an audiences’ experience of classical music as they listen to her play.  She has performed with the world’s foremost orchestras both locally and internationally and is a leading interpreter of the great classical masterworks. 

Kevin Anthony Fowler is a Jamaican-Canadian contemporary Christian singer and songwriter.  In 2024, K-Anthony celebrated his most recent Juno Award – Canada’s equivalent of a Grammy – for Gospel Contemporary album of the year. Influenced by the island music, you can hear his love of Reggae, R&B and the sounds of his teenage years of bands such as Boys II Men. K-Anthony’s career is buoyed by faith, resilience, and the deep-rooted values of his upbringing. The underlying theme of K-Anthony’s music is his love for God and hope for the future in his return.

The Collingsworth Family is a southern gospel group started by Phil and Kim Collingsworth and features their family as the group. Their ministry and music tours have reached all over the United States as well as internationally. Excitement, family-emphasis, and musical excellence are what you can expect when you come to The Collingsworth Family concert.  Phil and Kim’s entire purpose is to give the talent God has loaned them back to their Creator as a sacrifice of praise.

Junqi Sophie Tang is an assistant professor of music at Western Michigan University and former violin faculty of the University of Toledo School of Music. She was invited to serve on a distinguished panel of judges for the 2022 New York Laureate International Music Competition and 2021 Hong Kong International Violin Competition & Chamber Music Competition. She is the founder and artistic director of the Hantong International Summer Music Festival as well as the music director of the Cincinnati Music and Arts Society. She has been a First Prize winner in the 2021 Golden State International Music Competition and 2019 Hong Kong International Music Festival. She also won an excellence in performance award at the 2016 Schoenfeld International String Competition.

This event will feature the University Singers and Chorale under the direction of Stephen Zork, the Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Marc Elysée, the Wind Symphony, under the direction of Denisse Santos, as well as students from the piano studio of Chi Yun and string ensembles from the studio of Carla Trynchuk.
